I've decided to attempt the 100 theme challenge, I need something to work toward and get myself back on track :) I've been overly self-critical when it comes to drawing lately, so I'm trying this out to see if I can pull myself out of my slump and improve. My goal is to improve in use of backgrounds, and lighting in my pictures, I haven't really focused on anything other than characters my whole life and so other aspects tend to suffer for it.

Now that everything is pretty much uploaded I don't know what to next lol. Excited to have everything up... makes me feel somewhat accomplished :D Just wish everyone I want to show it to could see it... Maybe I'll start a new project in maya. The more to add to my demo reel the better ^-^ if it turns out good that is. Perhaps a new environment or an animal of some sort.

I am a fashion historian, so I am constantly working with many paintings, mainly from the XIXth century, but also some from late XVIIIth and early XXth century. They can be very helpful for figuring out the lightning and the way the fabrics and textures work. Of course real costumes can be even more helpful, but they are not so easily accessible.
